Creation of the “legendary” parliament – Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyzstan during the years of independence and its state and legal role

Relevance. The activities of the Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyzstan of the twelfth convocation, which worked from April 1990 to September 1994, were called the “legendary” parliament. Currently, in search of the optimal path for the further development of Kyrgyzstan, it is of great political importance to understand its value through an analysis of the experience of state building of the country in the past and present periods. By looking back into the past, we not only pay tribute to the work of our ancestors, but also learn useful lessons for ourselves. This condition is absolutely necessary to determine future issues aimed at the further development of our country. As human history shows, each country moves towards democracy in its own way. Each country has its own characteristics on this path, and this condition also applies to Kyrgyzstan. To prove this, we cite the activities of the Jogorku Kenesh of the XII convocation of the Kyrgyz Republic, which carried out its work from April 1990 to September 1994
