"Journal of Osh State University. History" is an open access scientific journal that publishes original research, theoretical and review articles by authors from different countries. The purpose of the journal "Journal of Osh State University. History" is to cover the results of scientific research, different views on global and topical scientific problems and to analyse future perspectives.
The journal publishes articles devoted to various aspects of history, in particular the study of key events that have influenced the course of world, national or regional history. Special attention is paid to outstanding historical personalities and their contribution to the development of society, science, culture and politics. The journal also examines little-known or insufficiently studied episodes of the past, and considerable attention is paid to the analysis of historical myths, their formation and influence on public consciousness in different historical periods. A separate direction is devoted to the history of local communities, cities and ethnic groups, as well as their cultural heritage, which allows for a deeper understanding of the diversity of historical processes. The journal publishes articles on archaeological discoveries, analysis of historical artefacts and the latest methods of historical research. Some of the publications are devoted to interdisciplinary research, in particular, the relationship between history and sociology, economics, anthropology and cultural studies. The authors of the journal also study the evolution of historical science, methodological approaches, the use of sources and current problems of historiography. The journal adheres to an open access policy, upholding the principles of the free flow of scholarly information and the global exchange of knowledge, for universal social progress.
