Relevance. If we dwell on the activities of the Kraft Brothers trading house in Turkestan, it was not a single institution owned by German entrepreneurs. The Kraft Brothers trading house, being in the structure of the Caspian Manufactory Society association, during this period, cooperating with the Russian Spinning Manufactory Society and the Weaving Manufactory of the Russian-French Society, was engaged in the delivery of raw cotton to large factories in cities such as Voskresensky, Bogorodsko-Glukhovsky, Reutov, light industry of the Russian Empire. The October Revolution committed in Russia in 1917, like other industrial enterprises, led to the confiscation of the real estate of the Kraft Brothers Trading House and their family, located in the Turkestan region and the central cities of Russia. As a result, A. Kraft and his family moved to Germany in 1919, first to Berlin, and later to the city of Freiburg, and lived there until the end of his life. The article is devoted to the study of the structure of the 91-fund of the Kraft Brothers in Kokand trading house, founded in 1889, which is stored in the National Archives of Uzbekistan. At the same time, from a source study point of view, an analysis of the structure of this fund and documents in it, reflecting the issues of cotton growing, was carried out.
